Tobacco Free Hall County focuses its efforts on supporting tobacco free environments in which youth and families can grow and prosper.

Emphasis is placed on eliminating secondhand smoke in child and youth-oriented environments such as daycare centers, schools, and recreational facilities.

Tobacco Free Hall County believes that a healthy community
is tobacco free, including elimination of secondhand smoke
in all public places.
Currently, emphasis is being placed on child and youth environments
as well as those locations where the health-impaired and elderly live
and frequent.

Through a strong presence in the community in support
of tobacco-free lifestyles, Coalition members and affiliates advocate
for:

Elimination of secondhand smoke exposure through policy development

Preventing initiation of smoking, particularly in youth

Cessation of smoking in youth and adults

Prevention of disease and death that results from the use and exposure to tobacco in all its forms
